Loki by Michael Waldron

"Loki" (Season 1) is a wild, mind-bending rollercoaster of a show that had me hooked from the first episode. I can confidently say that this series is a fantastic addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and brings a unique and fresh perspective to the superhero genre. The show follows the adventures of the God of Mischief, Loki, after he escapes with the Tesseract during the events of "Avengers: Endgame". He finds himself captured by the Time Variance Authority (TVA), an organization tasked with maintaining the integrity of the multiverse. Forced to work for the TVA, Loki becomes embroiled in a complex web of time travel, alternate realities, and a mysterious adversary.
Tom Hiddleston's portrayal of Loki (my favourite character) is, as always, top-notch. He's mischievous, charismatic, and witty. You can't help but root for this complex anti-hero. The character development throughout the season is outstanding, and it's amazing to see Loki evolve from his Avengers-era self into someone with more depth and self-reflection.
The show also explores profound philosophical ideas about free will, destiny, and identity. It was cool to see a show that makes you think all while delivering thrilling action sequences and impressive visual effects.
In summary, "Loki" (Season 1) is a must-watch for any MCU fan. It's a mind-bending adventure filled with intriguing characters, witty humour, and a storyline that will keep you engaged throughout. It expands the Marvel Universe in exciting ways and leaves you eagerly anticipating what's next for the God of Mischief in Season 2.
