The Reading History option allows you to see the items you have previously borrowed from the library.
How to enable the option:
- Sign in to your account.
- Select the Reading History option on your account screen.
- Click the opt-in button to enable Reading History.
Once you have enabled Reading History, any library items you borrow will appear in the Reading History area of your account. Items that were borrowed before you enabled the option will not be shown.
Managing your reading history
You may delete individual items from your reading history by selecting the box next to each and clicking "Delete Marked". You may delete your entire list by clicking "Delete All".
To disable Reading History, delete all items from your reading history list and then click the opt-out button.
Terms and conditions
By enabling Reading History, you acknowledge Kitchener Public Library’s online library system will retain your checkout activity for your personal use. You may disable this service or remove any or all titles from Reading History at any time. Collection of reading history information is subject to the provisions of the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Personal Privacy Act (MFIPPA). The Library will not divulge this information to outside parties unless required to do so by law.
