Trans in KW: Art Showcase

Submissions are now closed.

Meet the Artists Night

The Gallery at Central Library

Meet the artists who have contributed to our Trans in KW Art Showcase. We invited trans artists residing in or with a connection to Waterloo region to submit up to three pieces of artwork each. Come out to view this display of expression in the form of paintings, drawings, digital art, photographs, and mixed media.

Fill out a postcard with the prompt “If you could tell something to your younger self (or a young queer person), what would it be?” for a traveling display to all of our library locations. The postcards showcase historical photos that are a part of the Ron Welker LGBTQ+ Collection housed at Kitchener Public Library.
