Join Robyn Hobbs, owner of Le Prix, to learn about how to build a sustainable wardrobe and what to do with clothing that can’t be reused. Robyn will also cover capsule wardrobe tips and zero waste and low waste living. This program will also have an optional clothing & home item swap to encourage the upcycling of gently used items – please feel encouraged to bring 1-3 items with you to the presentation.

For the clothing and home item swap:

  • If you bring 1 item to the swap, you can take 1 item. If you bring 3, you can take 3.
  • Selection will be first come, first serve, and based on the honour system.

Robyn started Le Prix, her sustainable fashion business, in 2012 when she was entering her last year of Undergrad at Laurier. She studied Environmental Studies and Business and continued to pursue a Masters in Environmental Studies while running Le Prix.

Le Prix gives back to the community through education, mentorships and various partnerships. She is also a fashion consultant and curates sustainable new and pre-loved pieces from Canada, her travels, donations, and other sustainable female-owned Canadian brands. She advocates for sustainability and self-love, carbon offsets online orders and Le Prix’s community has diverted over 2.9 TONNES of waste from landfills.

Registration required.
