There are so many holidays to be excited about this winter! People in our community celebrate a variety of them including Hanukkah (December 14-22), Winter Solstice (December 21), Christmas (December 25), Kwanzaa (December 26 to January 1), New Year's Eve (December 31) and Orthodox Christmas (January 7). Many of these holidays celebrate important faith traditions and the powerful symbolism of light in the darkness. These holidays also bring communities together around shared values of gratitude and generosity.
To help you get ready for the season, we've put together a list of ways you can get festive at Kitchener Public Library!
