We're having a Federal Election on Monday, April 28! During a federal election, all Canadian citizens over the age of 18 can vote for a Member of Parliament to represent their electoral district. Monday, April 7 was the last day for election candidates to register. Curious about what candidates are registered in your local riding? You can find information for your riding on the Elections Canada website. Elections Canada also has information about how to vote if you're experiencing homelessness.
There are lots of different ways to vote! These include:
- Voting on election day
- Voting on advance polling days: Friday, April 18 to Monday, April 21
- Voting early at any Elections Canada office
- Voting by mail
Don't forget to bring your I.D. when you go to vote! Find a list of approved identification options on the Elections Canada website.
