Virgin River by Ian Hay

“Virgin River” is a tv show on Netflix that I'm currently watching. It's about a woman named Mel. She moved to the Virgin River a couple of years after her husband sadly passed away and she had also lost her baby. Virgin River is a small town where everybody knows everybody. There was a job open to be a nurse for the local doctor in town but getting along with him hasn't been quite as easy as it would seem. She didn't make a great first impression by calling him old which was also my favourite episode.
In my opinion, this TV show on Netflix has been my favourite one I have watched in awhile and it is very intriguing to watch and see how the story unfolds and see Mel meet so many new people, also her getting over her trauma and becoming comfortable with people again. My favourite thing about Mel is how she went from living in Los Angeles to going to a town where you walk in a circle you’re right back where you started. It takes place in a forest as well which gives similar themes that go along with the “Vampire Diaries” which is also another show that is great.
I also love the flashback scenes where we get to see Mel's past life. I wish that there was a bit less background music but besides that it's a great show. It stars Alexandra Beckenridge and Martin Henderson who are now two of my new favourite actors.
