The National Film Board of Canada is a database of acclaimed Canadian films and documentaries. Check out their Asian Canadian Perspectives channel for a collection of films that highlight Asian stories.

Community Organizations
The Canadian Multicultural Council – Asians in Ontario (CMC) is a non-profit, non-political umbrella organization. This organization is made up of more than twenty Asian-Canadian associations that represent various Asian countries and cultures.
The Central Ontario Chinese Cultural Association promotes Chinese culture and goodwill among different cultures. They provide a variety of programs and services in Waterloo Region, including translation services and cultural dance groups.
The Council of Agencies Serving South Asians (CASSA) is an umbrella organization of agencies, groups and individuals that provide services to the South Asian Community.
The Golden Triangle Sikh Association (Gurdwara Sahib Kitchener-Waterloo) was formed in 1982 to celebrate Sikhism in Waterloo Region and surrounding areas.
The Gujarati Cultural Association of the Golden Triangle promotes and maintains the language and culture of Gujarat, a prominent state in India. They organize cultural events and social gatherings in Waterloo Region.
The India Canada Association of Waterloo Region works to preserve and promote the rich cultural heritage of India. They foster collaboration among people of Indian origin and the broader Canadian community. They also advocate for effective representation in the social and political spheres of our community.
The Tamil Cultural Association of Waterloo Region recognizes the importance of arts, culture and language in a vibrant community. They promote and advocate for cultural activities in Waterloo Region.
The Waterloo Region Chinese Canadian Association is committed to promoting multiculturalism and prosperity. With the motto of “Together. Better,” it serves the local Chinese community in Waterloo Region.
