Teen Postcard Contest
Congratulations to the contest winners - Claribel W., Natasha F. and Emma G.! Visit @youth.kpl on Instagram to see their artwork now.
Thank you to all who participated and submitted their fantastic work!
Teens aged 12-18 are invited to submit artwork in consideration for the cover of our new teen postcards.
These postcards will be used in library marketing, promotion, and communication campaigns.
Three winners will be selected. Each winner will receive a prize pack that includes a $10 Tim Hortons gift card and free books!
Contest Details
Please submit one piece of artwork only.
Use one or more of KPL’s Strategic Directions as inspiration for your piece! Our Strategic Directions include:
- We Create Shared Spaces
- We Reflect the Community
- We Learn Together
- We Remove Barriers.
Your artwork must be in landscape orientation and the dimensions must measure 8.5 x 5.5 inches (digital art must be scalable to these dimensions). Submissions that do not meet this criteria will be disqualified.
Submissions can include:
- Digital art
- Painting
- Drawing or illustration
- Photography (no photographs of people, please)
Important Dates:
The Postcard Contest closes on Saturday, June 29 at 5 p.m.
Winners will be announced on Friday, July 5.
