Kitchener Public Library provides free wireless Internet access at all locations. The support of the Ontario Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport for the implementation of wireless Internet is gratefully acknowledged.

How to connect to KPL wifi:

  1. Access the network/wireless connection settings for your device.
  2. Select network “KPL Main" or the community library location.
  3. Open your web browser and the library's Computer and Internet Access Policy will appear. Read and accept the policy to connect.

A wireless hotspot is not a secured network environment. Keep this in mind if you are accessing confidential personal or business information. It is the responsibility of library customers to take appropriate measures to secure their data and equipment, and to configure their device to access the wireless connection.

Wireless printing

All Kitchener Public Library locations offer convenient wireless printing. You can easily connect to our printers from your device and retrieve your print jobs in the library.
