Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update: Province-wide Lockdown
Under the 28 day provincial lockdown beginning on December 26, 2020, Kitchener Public Library will remain open for curbside pickup services only.
Curbside pickup will begin on Tuesday, December 29, 2020.
Customers will be able to place items on hold through our catalogue and pick them up when they become available. This service will be available at all five Kitchener Public Library locations.
Our hours of operation will remain the same:
Monday to Thursday: 9 am to 7 pm
Friday: 9 am to 5:30 pm
Saturday: 9 am to 5:30 pm
All items will continue to have a three-week loan period and most items can be renewed twice, if they have not been placed on hold by anyone else. Overdue fines will not be charged until further notice.
We continue to encourage customers to take advantage of the many digital resources and services we have available:
