Dress-up Storytime

Do you love stories and songs? Do you love to express yourself through dress up? Then our Dress-Up Storytime program is for you! This 30-minute program will feature various guests once a month who dress in different ways. Watch for special guest storytimes and fun themes!


Sensory Friendly Storytime

Kitchener Public Library in partnership with Autism Ontario is delighted to present Sensory Friendly Storytime. 
This event is open to individuals with ASD, siblings, and their parent/guardians. 

Join us for stories, songs and activities specially designed for children with autism. 

Tales by Moonlight

In African culture, drumming and story-telling are part of the celebration of life.  Join us on Feb. 23 as we welcome Babarinde Williams, award winning speaker, singer, percussionist, and Griot (African historian and storyteller) for an interactive storytelling and drumming experience!

Drums handed out first come first served.

All Ages
No registration required.

March Break Movie



Whether you missed the movie in the theatre, or it's worth seeing again, join us in our 200-seat Theatre for a big-screen experience. Feel free to bring your own snacks and drink or grab a bite at Hacienda Coffee in the Reading Lounge.
