Our skilled volunteers provide free, one-on-one consultations to help you create a resume or update an existing one. Ideal for career changes and new employment opportunities!

Every other Wednesday from 11 am - 2 pm at Central Library (drop-in).

Upgrade your skills online! Get your OSSD, or take courses free. Meet with a representative from Contact North to find out how.

Resume Restart
Wednesdays from 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm and Thursdays from 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm at Pioneer Park Community Library (registered).

Create your first resume or update an existing one. Ideal for career changes and new employment opportunities. Registration required.

Learn Computer Skills

Tech Tutors

Thursdays from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm at Cental Library (drop-in).

Ask specific questions with a tech tutor volunteer.

Computer or Tablet Tutors

Learn the tech basics one-on-one with library staff. Registration required.

Video Tutorials

Learn the basics of using a computer with videos created by library staff.

Tutorials include Introduction to Computers, Internet, Email, and Word Processing.

Research and Learning Tools

Business Plans Handbook

Includes actual plans from businesses in the manufacturing, retail and service industries as examples of how to approach, structure and compose business plans.

CBCA Complete

A diverse mix of publications on topics ranging from business to the arts, to industry news and current events in Canada.
