Volunteer Opportunities
Explore the Possibilities
There are so many ways to get involved at the Kitchener Public Library!
We have more than 400 volunteers who contribute their time and talent to enhance library services in our community. Here is a sampling of what our volunteers do:
-
Help customers learn about the internet
-
Organize library collections
-
Scan historical photographs into the computer
-
Read to preschool children at community sites
-
Bring books to people who are unable to visit the library themselves
-
Assist children who are learning to read
-
Help at the Kidspark and Word on the Street festivals
-
And much, much more!
