KPL's
Homework Centre provides homework assistance to senior elementary
and high school students. Our goal is to promote information
literacy through training in the use of both print and electronic
information resources at the library.
The Homework
Centre features 6 computers with word processing, printing
and numerous online
products to help students with research. Students can
sign up for up to an hour and a half per day.
The room also
features a superb collection of reference books designed to
support the new curriculum. There is quiet study space for
individuals as well as tables for group work. The combination
of resources and work space provides an ideal setting for
students to research and complete their homework assignments
and study.
The Homework Centre
is available for group bookings during the day. If you
are interested in using the space and the resources for instructional
and/or study sessions with a group of students, please contact
Christy McCready, Young Adult Services Librarian at 519-743-0271
x277, for booking information. |
