Government Information

 

The Kitchener Public Library maintains a collection of government documents in the Information Services Department of the Main Library.

 

KPL collects publications of:

 

  • The Government of Canada

  • The Province of Ontario

 

KPL is a selective depository library for federal documents, and a full depository library for Ontario documents.

 

You can access federal and Ontario bills, laws, and regulations in print or online. You can also access:

 

  • Online Government Resource Guides (listed on the right)

  • budget papers

  • statistics

  • annual reports

  • consumer information

  • citizenship information

  • census data

  • and much more government information from the Information Services Department at the Main Library.

 

You can also access some documents pertaining to the Regional Municipality of Waterloo and the City of Kitchener. If you have questions, just call our InfoLink line at 519-743-7502 for more information.
