Celebrate Family Literacy Day at KPL!
January 27 is Family Literacy Day across Canada. KPL is celebrating all month long!
Starting January 2, participate in our Family Literacy Read-a-thon. After you have read a book together as a family – at bedtime, at the library, or wherever you like to read – visit any KPL location. Write your family’s name and the title of the book you read on a paper snowman and post it on our Read-a-thon board. Let’s watch our snowman families grow and see how many books KPL families can read in one month!
Do you think we will read 100? 1000? Who knows? We’ll celebrate our success with a Family Celebration at the library. There will be stories, songs and lots more fun!
