Internet Access

The Main Library offers access to the Internet on a number of workstations throughout the building.  These computers are loaded with Microsoft Office programs and can print in black and white or colour (there is a fee associated with printing).

Free Wi-Fi Hotspot

Due to a generous grant from the Ontario Ministry of Culture, the Kitchener Public Library is able to provide free wireless access to the Internet at the Main Library location.

Please note that a wireless hotspot is not a secured network environment. Keep this in mind if you are accessing confidential personal or business information.

Printing is not available through the wireless network.

It is the responsibility of the library customer to configure his/her laptop to access the wireless service.
