The Autism Collection of the Kitchener Public Library is a special collection of books and audio visual materials on the autism spectrum of disorders (ASD) and related issues.
This unique collection includes resources for individuals and families who work and live with autism, researchers, and education and health care professionals. Both genders, and all age and ethnic groups are represented in the collection.
Due to the construction project at the Main Library, the Autism Collection has been relocated to the Grand River Stanley Park branch, located at 175 Indian Road, Kitchener, until further notice. All formats of material are kept in the one location. All of the materials are marked with the Waterloo Wellington Autism Services logo shown below.
The establishment of this important collection was made possible through the vision and generous financial donations of the Waterloo Wellington Autism Services.
