Country Hills Community Library
Internet Access
The Country Hills Community Library offers access to the Internet on a number of workstations. These computers are loaded with Microsoft Office programs and can print in both black & white or colour (there is a fee associated with printing).
If you are new to using the Internet and would like to learn about the basics of searching we can arrange a one-on-one instructional session with one of our trained Internet Volunteers.
To find out more information, to book time to use a computer or to request an instructional session please call 519-743-3558.
Free Wi-Fi Hotspot
Due to a generous grant from the Ontario Ministry of Culture, we are now able to offer wireless Internet access at the Country Hills. During the school year it is available after 3:00 pm and all day Saturdays. In July and August it is available all day.
Please note that a wireless hotspot is not a secured network environment. Keep this in mind if you are accessing confidential personal or business information.
Printing is not available through the wireless network.
It is the responsibility of the library customer to configure his/her laptop to access the wireless service.
KidTech
The Country Hills Community Library has two KIDTECH computer workstations for children to enjoy. They are loaded with many educational and entertaining software products. Youngsters can sign up for an hour session up to 48 hours in advance, in person or by calling 519-743-3558.
