Canadian Library Association - Young Adult Canadian Book Award
This site gives a description of this award for teen literature. It also features a link to all the winners of this prestigious award so you can see who has won and for which book.

Chapter-a-Day Teen Book Club
A free online book club. Everyday there is a new five-minute read and then every week there is a new book. Give it a try!

Ontario Library Association - Red Maple Award
A reading program offered to students in Grades 7, 8 and 9. Students read a selection of 10 books and then vote on their favorite. There is a comlete list of current nominees and all the previous winners. The best part? They are all Canadian writers!

Reading Rants: Out of the Ordinary Teen Booklists
Booklists by a librarian with great taste for teens who need a good read. There is an amazing selection of lists and categories. You cannot visit this site without locating at least one book you want to try!

Representative Poetry Online
If you are interested in poetry, this is a great site. The University of Toronto Department of English provides resources on poets, poetic language, literary criticism, and poems. Definitly worth a look!
