  For Teachers

Teachers, homeschooling parents and child care providers will appreciate the collections of materials that are available for them to borrow in support of the school curriculum and other learning activities of children in their care. The Library's annual Summer Reading Club and seasonal programming are designed to encourage children to read and use their public library.

Visits to the KPL location nearest you can be arranged by contacting KPL's School Liaison or your local library. Please check the School Responsibility List to determine which community library is responsible for supporting your school. You may also request a visit to your school by a Library staff member.

School Cards may be requested by contacting our registration desk at 519-743-0271 ext. 237. As well, group visits to the Main Library's Homework Centre can be booked by contacting KPL's Young Adult Services Librarian, Christy McCready at 519-743-0271 ext. 277.

Presentations on the topic of reading and children's literature may be arranged by contacting KPL's Co-ordinator of Children's and Young Adult Services, Laura Reed at 519-743-0271 ext. 280.
