The
Kitchener Public Library Foundation was
established in 1994. Its mission is to support
the development of public library services in
the City of Kitchener by raising funds and fostering
community goodwill.
To
meet the costs of new initiatives, the Kitchener
Public Library Foundation raises funds through
its annual Friends of KPL campaign, special
events, planned giving and major gifts. The volunteer
Board of Directors is drawn from the community
and oversees all fundraising activities.
