About the Campaign

KPL’s Central Library fundraising efforts are entering an exciting new era as we embark upon our first major gifts campaign. The “evolve. literally.” campaign will soon become synonymous with KPL.

So, what does it mean? That’s part of the appeal! The “evolve. literally.” tag line will mean something different to everyone. Connotations of the word “evolve.” include: the physical evolution of the library’s structural footprint, the diversification of the community KPL serves, the changing role of public libraries, or even the personal growth customers experience as a result of participating in our programs. “Literally.” is a great play on words – of course, it fits well with the library’s literary focus, but it also reinforces the fact that KPL is actively changing to better serve this city. 

Over the coming months you will see the “evolve. literally.” brand grow across the KPL system. We hope that you will take notice, ask questions, and become an active participant in this campaign!
